**STAMPEDE - Krusher Rock @ The Embassy Club, London.** May 25th 2009 29 Old Burlington Street Mayfair, W1S 3AN 9.00pm ---------------------------------------------------------------- The newly reformed 80s cult hard–rock outfit announce their very first date back together again… Stampede are set to kick off their 2009 reunion by taking to the stage at Classic Rock’s ‘Krusher’ club night at The Embassy Club London on 25 May 2009. This will be the first time the band has played to a live audience in 26 years. The announcement comes as Stampede are in the process of writing their brand new album which is due to be recorded in June this year. Front man Reuben Archer has revealed that the audience at the Embassy will not only witness their first performance in over two decades, but will also be the first to hear some of the new material from the impending album interspersed with old favourites from the Hurricane Town and live Official Bootleg albums. He says of the gig “It’s a double whammy for us and we can’t wait to get back out there and let the energy out of the rehearsal room and onto the stage!” Stampede’s reunion line-up consists of original founding members Reuben Archer (vocals), Laurence Archer (guitar) and Colin Bond (bass).
